Baby in Bliss – the CD is the first album from In the Loving, Inc.
The heartbeat, our inner drum, is a powerfully healing sound. The
drumming grouped with melodic voices, inspirational lyrics, positive
messages, beautiful instrumental accompaniment, and guidance from
spirit, you arrive at a uniquely magical musical experience. Instantly
calming and contagiously happy, Baby in Bliss – the CD may just take you
and your baby to a whole new level of connection.
We believe we are all born inherently knowing peace, spirit, beauty,
blessing, gratitude, compassion, joy, faith, love, freedom, and bliss.
And we consider our Baby in Bliss music to be a daily reminder for the
whole family who we all are and have inside. Sometimes, life just
steers us away and we forget our wonderful selves.
The drum and rhythm are the bases of each and every song in the Baby in
Bliss lineup. It is the drum beat that we believe brings us to a state
of bliss, where healing and love can enter our spirits.
We each
have a body memory, a visceral relationship, with drumming, rhythm, and
sound. Do you know why? To answer that, ask yourself, what was the
first drum beat I ever heard? Your answer should span all the way back
to when you were tucked safe inside your mother’s womb. Our first
drumbeats we ever heard were from our mothers. We heard her heart
beating, her lungs inhaling and exhaling breath, her voice. In fact,
research shows that in particular, the vowel sounds and the bass sounds
came through to our inner ears.
Lead percussionist of Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA, our very own Idris Hester, is the creative genius behind the specific drum beats and all percussion for Baby in Bliss. Well-known lyricists, Toni and
Gene Bua, offer their artistic hand to the album. Recording engineer
and dad of two, Brandon Jarrett of Moho Studio, lends his loving voice
to each song and his inspired mixing master magic. Our very own CEO and
Co-Founder, Ragan O’Reilly, sings with Brandon on Compassion. Piano
extraordinaire, Daniel Alexander, translates the feeling of each song
word into melodic beauty.
